Meet Giuseppe Marrone, ACQUA's Executive Chef and Managing Partner
Born and raised in Naples, Italy, Giuseppe Marrone grew up being inspired by his land and the values of his family. Inspired by his mother and grandmother, Giuseppe spent his formative years training at the renewed IPSSAR “Angelo Cellitti” in Formia, where he learned the mastery of the Italian and Mediterranean cuisine.
After graduating from the esteemed school, Giuseppe went to work at the famed restaurant San Domenico in Imota, working under the guidance of the master Italian chef Valentino Mercatilli.
He also worked for a while in Switzerland at Kulm Hotel in St. Moritz with the executive chef Hans Nassbaumer. From there he went to The Ritz Hotel in London with executive chef John Williams. Having learned the true values of the fine cuisine, Giuseppe made it is objective to share the passion and traditions of the tastes and flavors of his motherland.
